L.A. Blogger Party: Two Week Notice!

I’ve had a few folks email me about the L.A. Blogger Party coming up. So, I’ll try to keep everyone up to date:
Well, we’re only 2 weeks away! Hopefully, you’ve made all your arrangements with significant others and baby sitters.
As a Reminder:
- When: Saturday - June 2nd - Saturday - starting at 7 p.m. and ending when the last person leaves!
- Where: The Hollywood Hills! On Mulholland Drive — please EMAIL ME for ADDRESS and DIRECTIONS (tim (at) ladaddy (dot) com)
- Why: Well, if you have to ask…
- What: The 1st Annual L.A. Blogger Party. It is basically an excuse to get together and talk with fellow bloggers, blog readers, blog lurkers, and blog celebrities (blogebrities?) who live in Southern California. No hype, no pressure, no expectations… just good clean fun for all!
- Who: You! And your husband, your wife, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your kids, your pet chihuahua! It’s all good
- What Should You Bring: I’d love to be able to provide food and drink for everyone, but… I ain’t got no money. Soooo, I’m asking that you bring your favorite beverage (enough for you and, if you can, for a few others.) Also, L.A. Mommy and I will try to put together some food but we could use help with side dishes, snacks, finger foods. There is a full kitchen in the house, with a microwave and oven and fridge for some prep if you need it. I also ask that you email me (tim (at) ladaddy (dot) com) to let me know what kinds of food and drinks we’ll be having. That way, we can buy what we won’t have enough of. If you’d rather bring money — that’s okay, too.
- Can You Help Out: The party doesn’t start until 7pm, but if you’d like to come to the house early to help set up, you’re more than welcome. It’s not required at all. But any and all help is more than appreciated! Just let me know.
Now… on the subject of who should or shouldn’t come — I’ve heard from a few people who don’t think they should come because they only read blogs, or just started blogging, or they don’t blog that much.
Well, I say… Horseshit!
I am hosting this party and I say that one and all are welcome. I didn’t want to set this up as some clique party or to exclude anyone. I’ve got a friend coming who doesn’t have a blog but she reads mine on a regular basis. So, if you don’t think you’re included — you are. Nerts to you! Phththt!

I’m in for setting up with you…in fact, I’d rather find my way there earlier than later, LOL. I will also bring food….probably hummus and chips or something similar to that. Oooh and my booze….mmmm, booze.
Just send me a plane ticket and I’m there dude!

Bret and I will probably show up early, too. I was thinking about bringing a giant batch of chicken enchiladas, but are finger foods preferred?
Wait … good *clean* fun?!?! Damn, I thought it was gonna be like TequilaCon, with boob-licking and shit. Maybe I will invite my daughter, then.
I will bring food. What kind you ask? I don’t know yet but I will bring dammit. Can’t wait.
Booze food and more booze from me. I might bring my lion costume, just for fun.
heard about this via leahpeah (an unintentional rhyme)…I’m moving back to LA this summer, so this party will be my re-entry into LA society. hope I don’t embarrass myself with my backward, rural ways….
