The Party Date has changed - we’re now gathering on Saturday JUNE 2nd!
I’ve already been in touch with a few of the Southern California bloggers, but I want to announce it for everyone. I’m organizing an L.A. Blogger Party in May June!
This is an open call to every blog writer in the Southern California area - and those who feel like traveling to Los Angeles for this event - to come and hang out with each other, have conversations with other adults, and maybe have an adult beverage or two.
Our Party Location? A large party house in the Hollywood Hills, overlooking Laurel Canyon, on Mulholland Drive. It’s got a hot tub, an outdoor fireplace, a giant Tiki Bar, and a TREEHOUSE!
The Official Party Date? June 2nd. We’ll do it even if it’s just me an Whit drinking beers on the deck overlooking downtown L.A.. Which he said is fine with him….

I’d like to get a head count, so please email me at Tim (at) ladaddy (dot) com if you can make it! Please leave a comment and let me know what you thing — even you lurkers! Also, let me know if you’re bringing spouses, significant others, or secret lovers.
And for those of you out-of-towners? What more excuse do you need to fly out to California than to have a kickass party with some of your favorite bloggers?
For all of you people planning to attend, if you could also let folks know on your blog - that would be great! The more the merrier, I always say.
So, save the date and I hope to see as many of you as possible. Party location to be determined!

Hey, can I pimp this in my blog? I know about 10 bloggers in the area (San Diego to LA) who would rock the fun!
I’m down, LA Daddy! I’ll try to make my husband come too. This should be a great time and I’m all about either location.

I’d love to come to a party at your house. It sounds like a beautiful location. Either way I’ll try to make it. The only other time I met a bunch of bloggers was that other time I met you, and it was so much fun! Plus, this time I’ll be able to drink alchohol. You know, without feeling guilty.
Unfortunately I can’t make it due to the exhorbitant price of a ticket this late in the game as well as it being so close to my birthday on June 2. However I’m definitely going to steal this idea. Can I use those cool cocktail graphics too?

Oh what a bummer. I’ve been hoping for something like this for a while and since Hilly and I have been blogger buddies for a while but have never had the occasion to meet, this would have been awesome. But I’m going to be in New York that weekend missing out on the fun. Good idea though, I’ll hopefully be in the next one.

Hi, I heard about this on Hilly’s blog. You don’t know me, but I’ve been blogging for years. I live in North San Diego County.
Count me in for the party, and my husband will be coming along! I vote for the house on Mulholland Drive for a location. We could all bring contributions to the food table, or all chip in on pizzas … ?

My only concern is that it is the same day as the Dodgers play the Angels, and I’m worried there might be fistfights going on with some of the Orange County bloggers.
I promised Hilly I would try to make it to the next gathering, so it’s a good possibility I’ll make it there too.

I see a lot of LA bloggers and a bunch of OC bloggers but I have yet to see any Ventura County people. I guess I’ll have to represent the 805 then.
