A Heartbreaker…

Sometimes bloggers will post some of perverted keywords used to find their blogs on Google. But I found a keyword phrase today that, if it was “real”… really got to me. During this time of the year, many of us get to count our blessings and hopefully realize how great we have it.

The keyword phrase this person used to come across my site really made me feel lucky and want to count my own blessings. He or she typed in, “I’ll give up my presents for daddy to come back home.”

It just breaks your heart, doesn’t it? L.A. Mommy says it wasn’t real. But I think it was. It could have been some kid, with Internet access, doing some searching from his or her computer in Bayville, New Jersey.

To whomever wrote that, and maybe any other kids out there that don’t have one or both of their parents at home this holiday season — I hope you get to keep your presents and that your father makes it home real soon…

Happy holidays.

Oh man, that IS heartbreaking. Hope that kid has his/her wish come true this X-mas.

Ok, that rivals all the hits I get from people searching “cry all the time” “crying uncontrollably” “why can’t I stop crying”…. I am fairly sure those are real, and it breaks my heart that people are looking for hope via google. I hope yours isn’t real.

That is depressing. Just makes you hope that wasn’t a kid.

Most of my searches are for midgets, KFC, or tattoos for dads.

People searching for midgets, KFC or tattoos for dads really break my heart too.

It is sad though what people will type into google looking for help. I hope that kid somehow gets some of the answers he needs this Christmas.

I fear one or both of my kids will search Google for “I’ll give up my presents for daddy to go away.”
