I can sympathize. I left NYC eleven years ago and I still miss it. I’m close enough to visit often, but it’s not the same.

Remember what Hemingway said about Paris: “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” It sounds like LA is yours.

Great list of songs. I’ve always loved “Goin’ Back to Cali”. I’ve left the L.A. area several times and, like a bad penny, I keep turning up back here. I’m glad your hellish year is behind you.

Nice list. I always liked Boys of Summer for cruising through LA on summer nights with all the windows down.
